Term 4 Programs 2014



Street Art

Learn different street art techniques including stencilling, aerosol, layering paint and texture, cut and paste up art. Russell Way will teach the students how to use found objects such as old stovetops, tools and curtains with multiple layers of aerosol stencilling and textural materials to produce a complex work of art for display.


Date: Oct 16th to Dec 11th
Time: Thursday’s 4-6pm

Age: 12-25yrs

Cost: $80 8 sessions


Song Writing and recording

Write and record your own song.  Learn songwriting, recording techniques produce your own CD

Dates: Wednesdays & Thursdays
Time: Times to be booked
Cost: $40 per hour one on one



The Youth Arts Warehouse will be alive with a group of Song Writers & recording artists working towards a Songwriting festival in 2015

Be part of the SOUND LAB in a professional recording studio and venue. Workshops will include sessions with industry professionals and well-known Musicians:


Any style or experience welcome


Lay down a track using high-end recording equipment witha sound engineer.



Oct 15th - Dec 10th



Ages 12-25 years




Learn the process and skills to produce an original short film documentary-Story boarding, camera techniques, interview, location shooting and editing, on Mac book pro computers. Work on this specialized project to record the stories of Woy Woy seniors.

Date: Sessions to be arranged
Time : TBC
Age: 12-25years

Cost: FREE

Where-Woy Woy -This course will involve extra time for shooting on location.




This two day workshop (for 15 yrs+) is designed to prepare you professionally and artistically for when you are required to perform a monologue for auditions.
