DSC_0342Youth Arts Programs enrolling NOW for Term 1 2014 all our programs are low cost and run by Industry professionals in the contemporary all access Youth Arts Warehouse. Our Theatre Music & Art space houses a stage PA and lighting rig, recording studio, art space and seats 300.

Street Art
Learn different street art techniques including stencilling, aerosol, layering paint and texture, cut and paste up art.
Work on a site specific Mural in Gosford CBD


Date: Feb 13thth-April 10th
Time: Thursday’s 4.00pm-6.00pm
Age: 12-25yrs
Cost: $100 for 10 weeks


Write and record your own song.  Learn some basic songwriting, recording and performance techniques.  Work as part of a team to promote and stage a live music event.

YAW Video Music Project
The Youth Arts Warehouse is gearing up for a new innovative Music program, which will see young Musicians and bands, being mentored by Industry professionals through all aspects of building a professional profile , recording, performing, live video clip, professional photo shoot

Dates: February 5th to June 25th
Time: Wednesdays 4.00-6.00pm
Cost: $100 per term

YAW Theatre Group-Play Write-Script writing and performing
Be part of a dynamic theatre group write and produce a play for performance. Script writing, acting, characterisation and drama game
This popular program has been running for a few years and grown to be one of the CC leading script writing development programs for young writers and performers-Our live plays in the contemporary Youth Arts Warehouse draws an audience of over 130 people each night.

Dates: February 11th to June 24th
Time: Thursday’s 4.00-6.00pm

Purpose:            Intergenerational collaboration between elderly residents and young people through the collation of personal stories and the use of digital storytelling through film and photography mediums.

Brainstorm ideas for stories and finding out overall themes of the stories- discussion with elderly participants.
Workshop to verse young people in interviewing techniques and what to expect from interviews- e.g. if any emotional or sensitive issues raised.
Respect and care for the storytellers and the storytelling process
Support the young people in the interviewing process in gaining skills in interpersonal communication, oral history and recording technology devices.
